Dolomiti via Passo de Stelvio

10-1-2007. Took the high road from Lago di Como to the Dolomites, right over the Paso de Stelvio. Jeff cheated a bit to bypass the sketchy tunnels, then broke out the bike for the last 22 switchbacks and the descent down the other side. Beeeautiful!

I thought you were not allowed to only ride DOWN the mountains. Don't you need to earn that privilege by pedalling UP first?

hey, i rode up, AND down... up was more fun though, down was COLD!
